Spaghetti in Hot & Spicy Lemon Sauce

1 pound dried spaghetti

2 ⁄3 cup olive oil

2 ⁄3 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

1⁄2 cup fresh lemon juice (from about 2 lemons)

Salt and black pepper to taste

1⁄3 cup chopped fresh basil

1 tablespoon grated lemon zest



Step 1

Cook spaghetti into boiling water according to the package directions. After spaghetti cooked strain the spaghetti with a rice strainer.

Step 2

In a large bowl, whisk the oil, Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, salt and pepper then keep lemon sauce aside.

Step 3

Add the spaghetti to the lemon sauce, and toss with the basil and lemon zest. If need adjust the salt and pepper to taste then Transfer to bowl and serve.
