Bean Sprout soup

Ingredients

1 cups cup bean sprout

1 onion, chopped

1 tablespoon chopped ginger-garlic

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

4 cups Vegetable stock or normal water

1 teaspoon soya sauce

1 tablespoon vinegar

¼ teaspoon ajinomoto (non-compulsory)

½ teaspoon White pepper powder

Salt to taste

2 tablespoon corn flour, (dissolved in 1 cup cold water)

 

For The Garnish

2 tablespoons chopped green coriander

 

For The Serving

Chopped chillis into vinegar

Soya sauce

Chilli sauce

 

Method

Step 1

Heat oil in a sauce pan then add into this chopped onion, ginger-garlic and sauté for 30 seconds on medium flame.

Step 2

Add bean sprout, salt, pepper and sauté for one minute on medium flame.

Step 3

Pour 4 cups of Vegetable stock or normal water, with soya sauce, chilli sauce, ajinomoto, vinegar, and mix well then cook on medium flame for 1-2 minutes.

Step 4

Pour the dissolved corn flour into soup and cook till the soup completely ready.

Step 5

Now garnish with chopped green coriander then serve hot with serving ingredients.
